Evaluation of the quality of life of patients helps to health care staff to consider the styles of improvement the quality of life of patients. Conclusion: Hardiness in patients not only their perception of stress, but it affects the quality of life. Results: Results showed that research structural model base on gathered data fit well and perceived stress mediates the relationship between hardiness and quality of life and 33% of the variance in quality of life in hemodialysis patients due to changes in perceived stress scores hardiness is explained. After removal of 5 outlier subjects, structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data of 306 subjects. 200 students were selected by available sampling and responded to quality of life for hemodialysis by Hays et al (1994), perceived stress by Cohen et al (1983), hardiness by Kobasa (1984) questionnaires. Method: The study was descriptive correlational design and the statistics population of the study included all hemodialysis patients of Imam Khomeini, Sinai, Hashemi-Nejad, Shariati, and Rasol Akram hospitals in the spring of 1394.
Aim: The aim of study was to determine the mediation effects of perceived stress in the relationship between hardiness and quality of life of hemodialysis patients.
